The demand of miniaturization of power systems has accelerated the research on high-switching-frequency power converters. In case of prototype 95W converter, the volta.Ī high-switching-frequency flyback converter in resonant mode To suppress such surge voltage, resonant capacitor is divided on primary side and secondary side in the proposed converter. However, relatively large surge voltage is generated in the switching device. A conventional quasi-resonant converter using flyback topology can realize soft switching with simple circuit. This paper presents a quasi-resonant converter with divided resonant capacitor on primary and secondary side of the isolation transformer.
